Information we collect
- Information you give us. For example name, email, phone, message content, prayer requests, event sign-up details, or other fields on forms you submit.
- Giving information. When you give online, payment card or bank details are collected by our hosted giving provider and are not stored as full card numbers on our website. We may receive your name, contact info, gift amount, fund, and receipt details from that provider.
- Usage data. We use Google Analytics (or a similar analytics tool) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referral source. Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies.
- Cookies. Small files or storage used for essential site function and analytics.
- Advertising measurement. We run ads promoting the church and measure which of them lead to actions on this site, such as starting a gift, opening a group or event signup, or sending us a message. We share these measurements with Google Ads through our analytics account. We do not share the content of your message or your prayer request for advertising.
How we use information
- Respond to messages, prayer requests, and pastoral or administrative follow-up
- Run ministry activities you signed up for (events, groups, volunteering)
- Process and acknowledge donations, including tax acknowledgments where required
- Improve the website and understand attendance and interest patterns at a high level
- Measure whether our outreach advertising is reaching people in our community
- Protect the security of our systems and prevent abuse
- Comply with law, for example financial recordkeeping
We do not sell your personal information.
Vendors and sharing
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, such as:
- Website hosting and related technical providers
- Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Online giving and church management platforms (Planning Center and Church Center)
- Email or messaging tools if we send church communications you requested
Those vendors have their own privacy policies. We share information with them only as needed to provide their service, when required by law, or to protect people from harm.
Children
This website is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate parental involvement. Children's ministry registrations should be completed by a parent or guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided information so we can delete it.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for ministry, legal, and accounting purposes. Donation records are often kept longer because of tax and financial rules. Analytics data is retained according to our Analytics settings.
Security
We use HTTPS on the website and rely on reputable vendors for giving and forms. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
