Our commitment

Cornerstone Church (15 Kibbe Rd, East Longmeadow, MA) wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards only, captions, or other assistive technology.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and WCAG 2.2 AA where practical. We are improving the site over time and welcome feedback.

Measures we take

  • Semantic headings and landmarks so pages make sense with assistive technology
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls, with visible focus
  • Text contrast targets that meet WCAG for body and UI text
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Labeled form fields and clear error messages
  • A "skip to main content" link on each page

Sermon video and captions

Sunday messages and other videos are hosted on Vimeo, with some content also on YouTube. We work toward captions on published sermon videos. Some older or live content may use automatic captions, which can mishear names and theological terms. If you need a transcript or another format, contact us using the information below.

Third-party tools and known limitations

Parts of the site rely on other companies' tools. We do not fully control their accessibility:

  • Online giving is processed on Planning Center's hosted Church Center platform. Card details are entered on the vendor's secure pages, not on cornerstonechurchma.com.
  • Planning Center for event registration, groups, or church apps when linked or embedded
  • Vimeo for sermon playback and embeds
  • Google Analytics for site usage measurement

If a third-party tool blocks you, call or email us and we will help another way, whether by phone, in person, or on paper.

Compatibility

We test with current major browsers and common assistive technologies. Older browsers or unusual setups may not work as well.
